Brianna, Today is YOUR Day!

“Today you are You, that is truer than true.

There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”

“If you’d never been born, then you might be an Isn’t!
An Isn’t has no fun at all. No, he disn’t.”

“Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”

“Things may happen and often do to people as brainy and footsy as you”

“Just tell yourself, Duckie, you’re really quite lucky!”

“You’ll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You’ll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Life’s a Great Balancing Act.”

“I’m glad we had the times together just to laugh and sing a song, seems like we just got started and then before you know it, the times we had together were gone.”

Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!”

“Be yourself and the people that don’t mind are the people that matter.”

Happy Birthday to my daughter who dares to be different.  I wouldn’t change a thing about you.  As Mary Poppins would say, “Perfect in every way!”

With special thanks to Dr. Suess

Every event in Brianna’s life has been significant to me. Since she is the youngest of the birth children, every milestone she passes means the end to what has been many enjoyable years of being a Dad…and all that goes along with that title. Even though I’ve been hearing mutterings lately of, “well, we can’t ask dad to do it…I mean, he’s practically 80!” (thank you Deidra) I just want you to know, that even when I am 80, I will still change the headlight in your bug…and all I ask in return…is a hug.
    Belated happy birthday

Aren’t we lucky to have these special girls as our daughters?
