Six Words Pack It All In!

SIX-WORD MEMOIR

Write about a significant time in your life in just six words

I knew I had to steal this from another blogger (http://www.lifewithbooks.com) as soon as I saw it. It’s funny how you can compact so many years into just six words!

CHILDHOOD: Self-confirmed tomboy who loved books

HIGH SCHOOL: Goodie-two-shoes, shy and awkward

FIRST JOB: A librarian assistant, why of course!

COLLEGE: Drop out eager to enjoy life

FIRST REAL RELATIONSHIP: Head-over-heals in love; painful

WEDDING:  An Idaho chapel and two hippies.

HONEYMOON: Mexico roadtrip, beach camping, cheap fun

MARRIAGE: Way harder than I ever expected

MOTHERHOOD: Amazing, delightful, enjoyable but challenging, tiring.

STAY-AT-HOME YEARS: Best years ever, loved it all!

HOUSEWORK: Definitely not my cup of tea.

DREAM: Live life simply in a tropical location

VACATIONS: Nothing if not memorable; attracted attention

SUMMERTIME: Never warm enough nor long enough.

RETIREMENT: Wish it could have started earlier.

LIFE: Definitely passing by at lightening speed.

Oh I so enjoyed this! It is amazing how just 6 words can give someone a pretty good idea of what a section of your life was like. And it seems to me that you are really living your dream. I’ve been loving seeing all your beach photos!!!

Hi Debbie -LIFE: Definitely passing by at lightening speed. Sure is but isn’t this a delightful time?
    Enjoy your summer. Judith:)

  3. Hi Debbie. Interesting. I also read a while back about an exercise of setting the timer for 15 minutes and writing what you want the world to know about you. Haven’t done it but have been thinking about it. Enjoy the water and warm weather. It’s supposed to be over 60 here today (for the second time this year).
