Dating A Loser!

HUGE confession to make today.   I can’t believe it’s come to posting something like this in a blog, but I’m done with secrets.

Have you ever found yourself wanting to cancel a date?  You make the plans with the best of intentions, but then somewhere between the commitment and the actual date, you desperately want out?

Such was my dilemma this morning.  Early morning date.  No desire to follow through.  I can’t believe how little there is to spur me on either — communication skills are practically nil. What little there is, comes from him and though he isn’t rude, I’d have to describe him as insistent and demanding.  Always pressuring me … he NEVER lets up!  Once I was on the verge of tears, and still he wouldn’t back  off. Of course, by the end of our date, he tries to make me believe he’s the best thing I’ve ever had.

Of course, you’re wondering why I’m involved in a relationship — first off, I’m married.  Well, like I said, I’m done with secrets — and Bruce is very much aware.  Second off, why this loser.  Because that’s what he is — a LOSER!   It comes down to outside pressure –nothing more, nothing less. I know, I know, I’m 59 years old, you’d think by now I could find my own voice, make my own decisions.  All I can say, is I’m working on it.

So, I’m off, gotta go.
